Introduction
The Industrial Skills Enhancement Program (INSEP) is a government comprehensive training program for unemployed graduates (degree/diploma), offering them opportunities to acquire much needed industrial skills as well as qualifications and experiences that can further their own career growth potentials and employability in the knowledge economy.
Course Duration
7 month (4 month training in Universiti Tun Hussein Onn (Formerly known as KUiTTHO) and 3 month (Practical training in related industry).
Requirements
It is open to all graduates who are in search for a specific skill program as an added value to their degree and diploma. Priorities will be given to graduates in engineering field, science and technology field mainly in civil, electrical electronic, mechatronic, marine etc. Graduates with different background field can also apply.
Training Fees
The training fees are fully funded by the government. Each graduate will receive an allowance from the government for a period of 7 month (RM 500.00 every month based on attendance). During the industrial attachment period, employers could provide extra allowances (not obligatory) to each graduate.

PIPING ENGINEERING for PROCESSING PLANT

SYNOPSIS
This course will introduce graduates to the overall petroleum engineering activities beginning from exploration, appraisal, development, production facilities operation and abandonment. It also cover the different facilities project development stages from engineering, fabrication, construction, installation and commissioning. The students also are introduced to the preparation of the bill material. It gives the exposure of the procurement standard practices starting from the preparing of the material specification, purchasing, expediting, inspecting and controlling material at the site for piping fabrication and construction. It is based on the stress and vibration analysis result and pipe bending movement.
LEARNING OUTCOMES:
At the end of the program, the graduates should be able to:

•· Produce design and planning for infrastructure in piping and plat layout

MANAGEMENT OF INDUSTRIAL OPERATION

SYNOPSIS
This course aims to expose graduates to the engineering activities in industry and allow them to involve in field career of management and supervising. This course focused more to experience in which participants in which participants are being exposed to practical skills more. Apart from the technical aspects, participants are also being applied with good work ethic and good behavior. This is in line with the industrial needs of skillful, knowledgeable, ethical and competent employee.
LEARNING OUTCOMES:
At the end of the program, the graduates should be able to:
•· Understand basic air conditioning system for the use in building and vehicle
•· Design simple air conditioning system with the use of software, model design and system maintenance
•· Understand safety concept at industry and safe working environment
•· Understand the operation of power generator supply for electrical power in industry
•· Produce and manage simple project that lead to the production of a product and relevant environment.
